LOL. I have been there so many times looking for work shoes that fit. Sadly, no luck. Trainers/sneakers in Japan come in larger sizes in some places but for business shoes I have had trouble. Over 27cm/27.5cm and it seems 15,000 or 20,000yen shoes are all that is available.

Exactly. The loaded rate is is usually multiple times more than the points you earn. If it's not please tell us so we know which one to use. 😎
Actually I just realised the advantage of using a credit card over a Wise card overseas despite the higher FX rate of a credit card - fraud protection. Credit card companies will refund you if there are fraudulent transactions whereas I doubt Wise would do that.
