Good idea to set up the new brokerage account at Rakuten or wherever, if you don't already have it. That will take some time. Once you have that, the NISA should not take too long. Much quicker than iDeCo, of course...
Thanks, I did set up the Rakuten brokerage and bank accounts back in 2021 (over about 4+ months having to change the name a few times to accomodate their problems with foreign middle names
)
