My understanding is that as long as you move before the end of December this year, you will not be liable for local inhabitants' tax next year.

Also your broker may ask you to close your investment accounts (taxable and NISA) if you leave Japan. iDeCo can be left as is and no contributions will be made while you are non-resident.

Yes, that's right. If you are not registered in any Ku-shi-son-cho on 1 Jan 2023, you would not be liable for Residents' taxes on 2022 income, but you may have a National Tax filing obligation. You should appoint a tax representative before you leave.
