No, yuou would have to go and file at the Kuyakusho for the Local Tax part only.

Sorry for the dumb question. I have an appointment at my local national tax office tomorrow to take care of/ask about declaring my dividends for the first time. Since the divdends are under the ¥200000 that requires reporting for national tax, (is that the case, even if no tax was withheld at source?) are you saying I wouldn't even need to go to the national tax office, just the kuyakusho? The kuyakusho would take care of the residents' tax without any need for a kakutei-shinkoku?
