For mobile I use Proton's free version which so far has been plenty fast.

I build my own using OpenVPN in the cloud. Cost $5/month. No bandwidth limit of course and full customization like firewalls, high-grade encryption, etc. Works on Windoze, Linux, Android and iPhones.

I'm tempted to start a VPN business in Japan. I wonder if there is a high demand. I've been doing it for so long that I keep kicking myself in the ass for not making a profit out of this hobby.
