HMRC login - not getting the access code

Hi,
I've been unable to login for a few days.
The method I use is to get an access code sent to my mobile phone.

I've had problems before but when I tried the following day its usually been OK.

I'm using the same Japan mobile phone number registered for a while and can other texts from the UK.

Appreciate if someone can check and let me know if it works for them?

The Gov system is working although I don't use the phone method. I set up Google authentication, you may want to consider that when you eventually get access.
I did have some issues with a different banking system this morning, not sure if it's a Japan phone glitch. I'm using Docomo.

Just tried it myself -didn't receive the access code SMS. I use Aeon, which piggybacks on Docomo's network.

It's not worked for me since I started trying Friday. Will look for another method once I'm back in. This happens too frequently IMHO.

I'm on Softbank so not a carrier issue at least.

I had this happen a while back. Didn't work for several days, then tried again and it was okay. No idea why.

The HMRC app is very easy to use, and that generates login access codes...

I had the same problem when I was doing my tax return in June for HMRC it seems you have to do the authentication codes. I used the Microsoft app one. I prefer the access codes, though. I am constantly having to do it with Mircosoft teams now with online learning at University.
