Just noticed SBI sets my nationality to Japanese

I was just looking through my registered details with SBI and was surprised to see my nationality registered as Japanese! Has this happened to anyone else? Do I need to contact them about it or something? I use SBI for my NISA account.

Are you sure it is nationality and not country of residence/tax domicile?

Huh, that is interesting. I would just enjoy the lack of stupid emails asking you to submit your zairyu card again and just let it lie. They screwed up by setting it that way
