The English version of Nikkei has published an interesting story on Collabit, a startup that estimates housing prices through using artificial intelligence and historical data. Has anyone heard of this company and tried its services before?

At least one number in that article has to be wrong: there is no way there are 60 million housing units on the market in Japan right now...
Otherwise looks interesting but not particularly groundbreaking. You can see official sale prices on the bilingual government website here: http://www.land.mlit.go.jp/webland/
That should give you a good general idea of what things are worth, assuming the property is in an area that has regular house sales.
