New Tsumitate NiSA

So I was told that the tsumitate NISA has been extended from 20 to 25 years. Does anyone know if the investment amount has been changed as well?

My Japanese level is still very low but from what I read, tsumitate NISA will be extended by 5 years
現在、新規に投資できる期間は2037年までですが、改正により、2042年まで5年延長されます

Ah, okay, that sounds like they extended the validity of the program, but each 'year' of tsumitate NISA is still tax-free for 20 years. Better than nothing!

Still waiting to hear the details of the new ordinary NISA account
