Hi,
I'm looking first at setting up an iDeCo account, likely with Rakuten, SBI or Forex, as that seems to be the general recommendation looking around here. And then NISA, but I haven't looked into it yet so I don't really know much about it. My question is to people who have both iDeCo and NISA, do you go through the same provider? Is this even a relevant issue?
Thanks!

Re: Setting up iDeCo and NISA accounts
If you use the same provider you can basically open both accounts at the same time. You also only need to figure out one website.
For the extremely cautious, using separate providers means a tiny reduction in the risk of getting hacked, the provider having problems, etc.

Re: Setting up iDeCo and NISA accounts
Thanks for the response! That all makes sense. I'm also wondering if there would be a benefit to having it all in one provider, for example the points aspect of Rakuten is kind of appealing, especially in the long term. Has anyone found that particularly worthwhile?
