Requesting for a particular stock to be purchasable?
Requesting for a particular stock to be purchasable?
Had been hoping to jump in on the Cloudflare IPO but couldn't order it through SBI. Then this morning, I noticed that there's a button titled "外国株式銘柄リクエスト" that lets you request for a particular stock. Have any one of you tried this yet?

I did it and after 5 weeks the stock I requested became purchasable. I am not a 100% sure though if it was only because of me

SBI have a separate interface for IPOs. I've not tried it out because they're pure speculation, but it seems to be here:

I believe that's for Japanese IPOs only.adamu wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:33 am SBI have a separate interface for IPOs. I've not tried it out because they're pure speculation, but it seems to be here:

Just check from time to time...

Is there a general information site that lists what broker a stock is available with, or soon will be available with?
I was interested in the Snowflake IPO, probably after the lockup period though.
There must be a way around checking every security corps. website.

It seems the only way to take part in an American IPO is to have an account with an International broker (I am not American).
Seems my best bet is to hope the company gets listed in Japan quickly following the IPO, and I can am to buy in post lockup.
Thoughts?
