Rakuten iDeCo - where did my cash go??

So, I opened up my iDeCo account with Rakuten, and this month the first 12,000 yen was taken from my wages. It showed up on my Rakuten page and I set my fund allocation.

The 12,000 has disappeared from my account, but I can't see anywhere that I have actually bought any funds.

Nothing shows up in the 保有商品一覧, the 注文照会 displays the message: 該当する情報はありません。

評価損益 and other sections just show zeros. It's the same story if I visit the JIS&T website--all zeros.

Does anyone know why this could be? Does it take a while for things to show up on the account pages or am I doing something wrong somehow?

I remember everything taking much longer than I expected with iDeCo -several weeks per step. I would just keep checking -the funds should show up before the second withdrawal

For what it's worth my iDeco account at Rakuten also got activated last month, and no sign yet of the money. I have also read here and there that this is normal, so probably better to wait at least one month before assuming something is wrong.

I forgot about the 3000yen fee and was flipping out as my funds had increased but I was showing a loss

Just looked at my account. The rough timings seem to be:

26th of the month -money taken out of bank account
15th of the month -orders go through
22nd of the month -investments show up in account

I looked at my account today, and my contributions started to show up.

When I opened my account this summer, they first took 46k (2 months worth) and it took like another month before it finally showed up in the account... was a bit like wtf.

But yes, the lead time before stuff shows in your account from when the money was taken out is almost like a month.

This thread is a big relief! My first two payments, 46k in total, went out on December the 26th, and I was wondering why they hadn't shown up yet.... Wonder who's playing around with my money while it slowly meanders across to my iDeCo....
