Depends on what you want to buy, in which account, and whether you want a limit order or a market order etc.

The only basic notion I have is that Nisa account is not taxed, so it will be under it. I am not familiar with Mutual funds, but very new buying stocks, and am confused by the options in Rakuten. What is the difference between Limit order and Stop Limit. What do you advise for beginner? Then how far or close from Market price is it usual to set the prices ?
Any comment and advice are welcome.

If you don't know much about stocks, I suggest buying mutual funds instead.

But if you like to gamble a little, go for it.
Read this first, maybe:

Aiming to retire at 60 and live for a while longer. 95% index funds (eMaxis Slim etc), 5% Japanese dividend stocks.

Nice Doc.

Better archive it before it, the website and the SEC are gone ;-)

Thank you for your reply. I'll will check this link closely.

Following question, since I noticed my Bank is debited daily : ラクテンショウケンカブシキガイシャ (米国株式為替見直し代金)
Why is it, is it necessary, should I stop it?

It seems to be something that happens if you have 自動入出金(スイープ)enabled on your account & have an open order for a US stock/ETF which will need to lock in the necessary funds until the order is executed. When the dollar weakens against the yen, the amount of yen that needs to be locked in by the 自動入出金(スイープ)will increase in order to keep up with the change in exchange rate.

Is it better to keep it "floating" or should I lock it?

Depends on what you want. It's a convenience feature so as long as you want to keep your standing order active, while not actually transferring the needed funds from your bank to your brokerage account, you might as well keep it open. If you don't feel comfortable with the system locking in the needed funds as the exchange rate fluctuates, you might feel better by cancelling the order for the time being, and then putting the order in when the prices move to a level that you want to buy at.
