These haven't been officially announced yet. If they are, it will take some time before they are implemented. Absolutely no rush.

Absolutely no rush.
Gives me time to boot up my fax machine, to submit the withdrawal increase request then, I guess.

Can anyone confirm that their contribution will increase this month? I did the paperwork to increase from 12,000 to 20,000 in my Rakuten brokerage account but can’t see anywhere in my account that the limit has risen.

Looks like Rakuten iDeCo is down for maintenance this weekend. Finger crossed it’s to add the feature for us to increase our contributions for January 2025 onwards

Does anyone know how to change the amount with SBI? I went through some of the links on their website and it seems that I have to request some documents? Is there no way of doing it online like it seems like you can do with Rakuten?

I had to ring them when I did it a year or two back...

I (finally) received my ID and PW for SBI's iDeCo today. Logged in, then rang the free-dial number to ask how to change my current monthly contribution from 12k to 20k. They picked up straight away, and guided me to the correct page to fill in. Next, SBI will send me some paperwork by post to fill in to change the amount.

I've done all that and received the email confirming that everything is fine and that, "The procedures will be carried out by the National Pension Fund Association, which is the implementing body of the scheme." However, there was no mention of paper work when applying for a change, and I haven't received any paper work, and the plan for 2025 still states 12,000 per month. Anyone know if the paper work for changing the contribution amount has been sent yet?

As far as I know, the change is applied at the end of the month, effective the following month. I have not tried it myself though (although I will in January).

I'm currently trying to make the change myself through Monex. I'll let you know how it goes if it interests some people here.
