Can I invest the full annual amount at once?

Post by catfoodfire »

Hi good folks!
I've tried searching for this answer, but haven't found any reliable source.
If I set up Nisa now, can I still invest up to the full annual 2024 limit, or am I limited by any monthly limits?
Cheers

You can invest the full amount of the Growth Portion Y2.4M per year in one go.

For Tsumitate, you have to allocate a monthly Contribution. You will have paid a certain amount in Tsumitate by the end of the Calendar Year.
You could set this monthly amount to the absolute minimum, and invest the unallocated portion to the Y1.2M limit.as a Bonus Payment in one go.

Simplest is probably to set Tsumitate to ¥100k/mo (which will keep going next year too), and also set it to make a one off bonus payment of ¥900k.

I don't think the bonus payment setting shows up for credit card investments, though I could be wrong.

Thanks both! Is there any limit to amount of number of bonus payments you can make?

There is a similar post and it references Ben's video discussing this too:
