Post by RetireJapan »

Wow--bow down heathens, I'm a master! :o

Sage (or master sage) sounds better, but I guess I'll have to live with it.

“Master” has some unwelcome connotations for some. I’m not personally offended but some people prefer to avoid that words these days.

Hmmm. I was going for the Asian context (martial arts, philosophy, etc.), not the S&M or US slavery ones...

We have seven ranks now. I doubt anyone will ever reach the seventh

We need more superlatives.

The current ranks translate to most prolific poster.

Some more suggestions:
  • Most helpful
  • Provides the most accurate information
  • Most popular / most liked
  • Makes the most links
  • Linked to most from search engines
  • Most old and grumpy
  • Most new accounts created because keeps forgetting password and forum emails don't work
  • Still asking questions even though has been around long enough to be answering them now
etc. :D
