Edits on the forum

Thanks to the spambots, we have changed the ability to edit posts on the forum. It will be restricted to the first ten minutes from now on.

That should give everyone enough time to fix typos or reword things, but prevent the strategy below.

Seems bots or spammers were signing up, posting normal things, then later going back and editing them to include links and spam content.

I don't like that, any more than you men.

Hence the change.

Sounds like a plan. I have a visceral hatred of forum spammer and will happily report any on sight.

Which reminds me of a thought (OT klaxon) I had a while back, are there no ladies intending to retire in Japan?

A forum census would be interesting I think. Looking at the pension forum, maybe >50% British men in their 40s?
