I doubt is possible at this point, but I figured I would check here once before giving up.
I receive my salary in a MUFG account.
Can I automate monthly deposits to my Rakuten Securities account?
Furthermore, can I automate monthly deposits to a SMTB bank account also in my name?
automate withdrawals from MUFG account

Re: automate withdrawals from MUFG account
I don't know specifically about MUFG, but my bank has a scheduled transfer feature (定額自動振込).

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I cannot find those kanji anywhere in the online banking website.

Might be something you can only set up in a branch.

This makes it seem like they have such a feature, there's a how-to at the bottom https://www.bk.mufg.jp/tsukau/furikomi/ ... index.html

I went to the bank today and it was a quite painless experience.
Now my monthly loan repayment has been automated ... YES !
Apparently it was not possible to set-up the same thing for Rakuten Securities ....
To automate that I should open a Rakuten Bank account, automate the transfer to that one and then automate the withdrawal to Rakuten Securities from Rakuten bank ... hmmm not sold into complicating my life even more with another bank account and all the extra mail, emails and notification that would come with that.
So.. I'll sit on this for a while and see what my next move will be.
Also sending money to my loan account automatically costs ~¥600 vs ¥220 if I di it manually... not a dealbreaker, but it makes me think.
