I had success selling English language books at our local monthly flea market in Nakano, also sold a few back issues of Monocle magazine.

Having seen a couple avid readers retire the year before and two years before I did, they just dumped their books on the shelves in the school copy room--one guy probably had a few hundred. Neither had space at home.
