Ski Insurance

Post by TokyoSurvivor »

Anyone have an insurance company people recommend to cover skiing / snowboarding?

Thinking to try and squeze in an Easter trip.

Cheers!

I booked some package tours through this site where you just check a box to add travel insurance for X number of days (https://tour.vipliner.biz/hoken/). However, after looking at the insurance company's website it seems there's no option to book online...

Depends on what you want to cover, but I believe injuries would be covered by most accident or medical insurance. Liability might be covered by accident insurance.

This Ski Insurance ranking is a mix of accident and sports insurance. They also have one day options: https://my-best.com/11750

PayPay insurance is 180 yen a day: https://www.paypay-insurance.co.jp/prom ... kiing/app/

Cheers!

We did the trip and got home injury free. However, I think I'm pushing my luck so need to get this sorted for next season.
