I changed the CC tsumitate amount from 50,000 to 100,000 yen. This month, 100,000 yen was charged to my CC, but only 50,000 yen appeared in my Rakuten tsumitate. 50,000 yen seems to have disappeared
Anyone else have this issue before I try calling Rakuten securities tomorrow?

Did you change it "in time"?
Most likely this was the final transaction for the old setting and it will be 100,000 yen going forward.
Check your emails/confirmation on the site.

Yes the email states that the first purchase at the new setting (100,000 yen) will be April 8th. But the issue is my CC was charged 100,000 yen this month. Only 50,000 of that showed up in my rakuten, so 50,000 has vanished

Am I being really stupid? Is this month’s CC charge for NEXT month’s rakuten purchases?

Whoops was editing when you replied. Will write it here instead.
My guess for CC purchases is that they want to encourage CC use so you depend on the card, and thus use it more often elsewhere, earning them more money. But they don't want to let you invest in stocks with their money rather than your money, so they hold on to it for a month so the order coincides closer to the timing the CC repayment is taken from your bank account.

Yes, that sounds like a likely explanation.
