I always read about NISA and IDECO on the RetireJapanForum, but was wondering if anyone has invested in a SMBC FUND WRAP?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Posted by Bernard C. (60y. old Belgian) living in Shizuoka.

This? https://www.smbc.co.jp/kojin/fundwrap/merit/
It looks like a very expensive robo advisor service. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone unless there was no other way for them to invest.
For most people, using NISA and iDeCo will be a far better option: tax-free benefits, lower fees, better return.

Re: SMBC FUND WRAP
Thank you for your feedback. I am always anxious when it comes to investing and this especially in Japan (language barrier). I have $50.000 on my savings account with the Bank of America which sleeps there. Definately, better to invest!
