How does everyone feel about Sendai?
I've heard great things about it and planning to visit next year as a potential candidate for relocation.
Is there many work opportunities for foreigners?
Any recommendations on nice neighbourhoods to check out and good eateries?
My wife is from Akita but with the serious de-population going on there we're thinking Sendai has more future.

Re: Sendai
In my completely biased opinion Sendai is the best place to live in Japan
I've only lived here but I've visited most other major cities.
Work situation is not great unless you have Japanese language skills or very specialist skillet/can work remotely.
