How do I know if I am eligible for the specified expense deduction for salaried employees?

I got this link from an inquiry to the tax office. Has anybody done this for their tax return?

That is usually handled when you do your end of year tax adjustment, which most salaried workers do.

Anybody experienced error message saying "we are registering your myna card. please scan again later" ...? I tried several times , it wouldn't change. any probable challenges in mynaportal to etax website connection?

Finally I figured it out. The space between the first and middle name. In katakana it asked me to correct it. But in romaji I kept the space. After several trials I figured it out and it went through.
