This isn't the kind of tone I want to see on here. The forum is a place to ask questions or share information. And we try to keep things friendly and assume the best of people.

I sold my tiny ETH holding today, it made 18 man pre-tax profit so can't complain. I was going to sell my BTC for about the same profit but the market dropped after that so I'll wait a little longer. The post-tax total should be enough for a return flight to the UK so I can't complain. Don't think I'll buy it again though. It's too volatile and I don't really understand how it works or what it's used for.

This is not the kind of post I want to see on here. Repeating the same short comment over and over again is not adding anything to the discussion.

And the S&P will reach 6000. The big question is when? Nobody knows when a certain price will be reached. I think in the other thread you said it will reach 100k by the end of this year? What makes you think that? And what will you do if it reaches for example 80k and then drops? Or even starts dropping from now. Do you have a plan in place? Or are you just going to HODL and hope for the best? I think the answers to these questions would add something to this thread :)

Since this was… kind of a discussion about crypto :) … I saw something about dogecoin earlier today and took at look at its github repo.

One thing that is interesting is that more dogecoins will be produced over time, with the intent to cover for all the data… err, dogecoins that are lost etc. by people over time. That seems like a sensible idea. Although it also points at a risk of crypto assets, losing your data.

At the end of the day, this stuff is all just data to me. But good luck to those who want to make such things the cornerstone of their financial plan. It’s a free world!
