Well, evaluate your interests. Whatever you’re most interested in- keep yourself engaged in that somehow.
Don’t forget keep your body moving. For me that’s something as simple as taking long walks a few days a week.
Keep make a few new friends and have a couple of laughs every day.
That last one is probably the hardest. In Japan, going to Izakaya helps. (try not to drink alone).
