I am applying for a second credit card online (ANA Visa Gold). My current credit card is a Rakuten Card.
One of the questions in the application process says in Japanese: 他社からのお借り入れ、あり/なし which is basically "do you have a loan from another company". Does anyone know if I have to declare the current balance of my Rakuten credit card or does that not count? (I pay the Rakuten Card balance in full every month and have no cash advances if that makes a difference). If I make a false declaration here accidentally, the chance of me being declined could be high.

There should also be a question about other credit cards you have.
I would not consider credit card spend a loan (have several credit cards, including ANA and JAL, Rakuten, etc.)

OK thanks, that's what I was thinking might be the case as well. I ticked 'no'. Appreciate your reply. Interestingly though there was no question on the application form about other credit cards that I may have.
