Greetings,
I've heard of Shinsei, Sony, Prestia and their English banking services. My question is, which one of these (or another) would be good for receiving regular wire transfers and/or huge lump sums of funds from a US bank? Basically, when the pension is deposited into our American bank we want to send it our way here in Japan every month. I think we have to deal with taxes at some point in Japan (if I am understanding correctly about bringing your own retirement income in)? But that is another question I suppose...
Thoughts? Thanks,
Best English based bank for receiving large sum of money and pension transfers from US bank?

If SS is a part of it all, I'd have it deposited directly to a bank here (skip the deposit into a US acct, then the transfer on your own to here). With sub-accts at shinsei/sony you'd be able to receive and then hold dollars.
