I just logged in to my iDeCo account on the JIS&T website.
Despite changing my address with Monex a couple of weeks ago after moving house, the address showing on the JIS&T website is still my previous one.
The Monex site has been updated with my new address, no problem.
Am I supposed to contact JIS&T separately and tell them my new address, or will Monex do this in due course?
Thanks.

Rakuten told me off because my Rakuten address and JS&T addressses didn't match. Apparently they don't talk to each other.

For iDeCo you have to update your address at the 連合会 which is only done via snail mail. You can order the form from your provider. It looks like this:
https://www.ideco-koushiki.jp/library/p ... sample.pdf
For Monex it looks like you can download it and a postage paid address label here: https://info.monex.co.jp/ideco/procedure.html
Don't forget to write 御中 on the envelope after 係 like a good postal citizen (actually this is the first time I saw something addressed to 係 so I searched what the right thing to do is, don't quote me ).

So did you fill out and send back the required form, as adamu explained above?RetireJapan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 8:28 am Rakuten told me off because my Rakuten address and JS&T addressses didn't match. Apparently they don't talk to each other.
I just filled out the one for Monex and will post it off today.

I checked, and you are right with the whole adding 御中 after 係.

I think so. It was part of a flurry of forms I had to submit to change type of iDeCo, payment method, employer, etc.Roger Van Zant wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 5:08 amSo did you fill out and send back the required form, as adamu explained above?RetireJapan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 8:28 am Rakuten told me off because my Rakuten address and JS&T addressses didn't match.
