Interactive Brokers gave me a deadline mid-APR to move my US account to IB Japan, transfer it or close it.
Moving to IB JP seemed a nice move towards simplification ... until I realized that most of US REIT are not available under IB JP ...
Any reliable alternatives of US brokers accepting JP residents ?

Firstrade does not accept new applications from U.S. citizens or permanent residents living abroad.

Yeah, I have the Vanguars REIT with IB but I guess I will have to sell it (at a loss...) for the changeover. Luckily my deadline is August.
