Has anyone tried this methods?

1. Charge to Famipay
There are several ways to charge Famipay, but the recommended ones are charging from a credit card and (although different from charging) Famipay next month.
charge by credit card
You can register JCB brand cards including Famima T card (registration for personal authentication service is required in advance) , and you can charge it from now on.
However, the upper limit of recharge is 20,000 yen/month for JCB brand cards and 100,000 yen/month for Famima T cards (there are other limits per day) .
*Even if you register multiple JCB cards, the total limit is 20,000 yen/month.
In this case, depending on the credit card, points can be redeemed.
According to information on SNS, etc., the point return is 1.0% as usual with PayPay cards and Monex cards.
(The administrator is unconfirmed, and we are currently investigating Monex card and PayPay card. We also received a comment from a reader that it was a 1% return with Monex card)
(Note) Depending on the credit card, even if it can be charged, it may not be eligible for point reduction.
In addition, Famima T card will return 0.5% of FamiPay bonus (not T points) .
In addition, we recommend charging on the 2nd and 4th Fridays. You can get a free coupon for products with a Famipay charge of 3,000 yen or more at a time.
Famipay next month payment
Famipay next month payment allows you to pay without charging in advance.
The monthly usage amount will be withdrawn from the bank designated in advance or paid at FamilyMart the following month.
*Since there is a fee for payment at FamilyMart, we recommend bank withdrawal.
With this next month's payment, 0.5% of the withdrawal amount will be given in addition to the normal payment amount.
In addition, there is an examination for Famipay next month payment (if the identity has been verified, the examination is usually completed in about 5 minutes from the application) .
The maximum usage limit is 100,000 yen.
However, the maximum usage limit at the time of application varies from person to person, and it seems that the amount starts with a small amount and gradually increases.
(In the case of a manager, for some reason the upper limit is 100,000 yen from the beginning)
2. Purchasing a Rakuten Gift Card at FamilyMart ~Days with 5 and 0~
Purchase a Rakuten gift card with Famipay at FamilyMart.
1.5% reduction when you purchase a POSA card with Famipay on days with 5 and 0
The purchase date must be the day with 5 and 0, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th.
On these days with 5 and 0, if you purchase a POSA card including a Rakuten gift card with Famipay payment, you will receive a limited-time Famipay bonus of 1.5% in addition to the usual Famipay payment bonus of 0.5%.
The upper limit of grant is equivalent to 3,000 yen per month, so you can purchase up to 200,000 yen (normal Famipay payment bonus has no upper limit) .
Double Famipay bonus every day when you pay with Famipay at FamilyMart
This is a campaign that started in March 2023.
It is held every month, but entries are required every month.
If you purchase a product that includes a POSA card with Famipay payment (Famima app barcode scanning) at FamilyMart, you will receive a limited-time Famipay bonus of 0.5% in addition to the regular bonus.
*There are items that are not eligible, such as utility bills.
The maximum grant is equivalent to 1,000 yen per month, so you can purchase up to 200,000 yen.
Total 2.5% reduction
Combining the above two advantages,
Normal Famipay payment bonus 0.5%
Days with 5 and 0 +1.5%
Double Bonus +0.5%
and a total of 2.5% reduction .
3. Receive Rakuten Cash from Rakuten Gift Card
Log in using the QR code printed on the Rakuten Gift Card or the Rakuten Pay app charge "Rakuten Gift Card" and enter the PIN number printed on the card to receive Rakuten Cash.
In addition, we recommend receiving from Rakuten Gift on the 1st and 11th of each month. If you win the lottery, you will receive points (1 point for entry required / entry only) .
4. Reserve investment trusts with Rakuten Cash Payment at Rakuten Securities
After that, we will reserve the investment trust with rakuten cash payment.
For example, if you charge Famipay with a 1% return credit card, the total will be 3.5% ,
A total of 3.0% even if you charge with a credit card with a 0.5% reduction like the Famima T card or pay the next month with Famipay
Investment trusts can be accumulated and purchased at a return rate of .
Rakuten Securities + Rakuten Cash is much more profitable than other companies' credit card payments.

I do the Rakuten Cash thing but having to do the FamiPay -> Gift card thing is a bridge too far even for me who enjoys doing these point up games.

It was inevitable, but Rakuten have now seriously curtailed this: https://manetatsu.com/2023/04/435082/
You now no longer can get the 1.5% points for purchasing Rakuten POSA cards on days with 5 and 0

Ah, the party is over. I never tried it but it seemed to be a savvy trick for those with flexible time and patience.TBS wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 1:04 pm It was inevitable, but Rakuten have now seriously curtailed this: https://manetatsu.com/2023/04/435082/
