Note though that the calculators don't work properly for those that do their own tax returns. There is no way to include by how much your taxable income is reduced by your expenses so I had to fudge the income number to make the taxable income part be correct.

Presume this is just the start of the site and that more options will be added later. It's a bit sparse at the moment....

It just got started yesterday, so there is room for improvement.

I contribute 81万 to iDeco, so I cannot really figure any way to use this service. I usually end up with a tax-rebate as it is.

iDeCo goes in the box labeled "Amount of premium for small business mutual aid,etc."

could someone tell me more about the one stop IAM system?Have people been using it? seems a way to do without bothering with little envelopes and pasting pictures -have people had experience with this?

Recently certain cities have been using services (I've seen 2 different ones) where you can submit your OneStop application online using just your MyNumber Card. I think its an amazing idea and for this year, actively sought out those cities to do my furusato shopping with (I messed up with one of them and still have to do the paper thing with that city).

Its very simple, you log on to the portal using whatever (usually its your name and birthday) it shows you which cities are part of their program, you go in, click a few buttons, scan your MyNumber card (NFC) and you're done.

Yeah unfortunately it is. I'm not familiar with IAM but there's a bunch of competing "services" and the cities have to sign up for them. In your case, you get one city that has this service and 4 others(?) who you still have to do the paper thing with.

two questions!

1.
regarding the ones which come without prepaid envelope etc-seems these are ones for payments under 10,000yen.is that correct?

2.
time of yr when making furusato nozei final purchases up to limit..
there was a link to a calculator on here but i always have trouble calculating it due to salaries etc changing during the year...
dont get the gensan til end of yr so very fiddly to work out..
is the calculation based from jan to dec salary,other payments etc or from april to march?
