Japanese broker for someone with NO kanji

Good day everyone,

"Someone" from subject is me, actually...
Managed to re-launch my pension about a month ago, and want to add iDeco to it. Need to open local brokerage account. Only - no kanji at all. This is inconvenient but not critical (can use translator on webpages) but I heard local brokers do not like to open account for those who cannot rad their policy agreement or something like this.

Any way to bypass that?

I can speak Japanese ok but basic language only, do not know financial terms. So I'd better not talk to anyone on the phone. Regarding written forms etc. my Japanese wife can help me with that (she already has Monex. So actually one more Monex for me would be best option so no need to deal with two different interfaces afterwards).

Any experience from non-kanji readers with opening local brokerage accounts?

Monex and SBI and Paypay securities* did not do a language or comprehension check with me.

Rakuten did, but I fudged my way through it with my wifes help, as she whispered a few phrases in my ear when I was unsure.

-> I would recommend Monex.

*Do not go with PayPay, it is trash. I closed my account.

Alternatively apply for all 3, SBi, Rakuten and Monex (regular accounts). Upon acceptance choose where you want your ideco and nISA.

Kusoripu but learning some kanji would be a good investment. You can learn a decent amount in 2-3 years that will have a significant impact on your quality of life here.
