I’m not sure if this topic have been posted or not. I have been searching for relevant keywords and haven’t seen any post specifically. Btw, I’m really thankful i found this forum and have been reading daily.
I’m new in the Rakuten universe and not fully knowledgeable about the point acquisition. If I use my debit card will I get the points? or I will only get the points if I use the Rakuten bank card (credit card function)? Currently i have spu 3.

According to this, the debit card also earns points: https://www.rakuten-bank.co.jp/debit-card/feature/, but you have to sign up to "Happy Program" to get them: https://www.rakuten-bank.co.jp/happyprogram/
It says the rate is 1% but it's actually less, because it's 1 point for each ¥100 yen (same as the credit card). So 3 transactions: ¥451, ¥451, ¥98 would get you 8 points (4, 4, 0) instead of 10 which you would get for a single ¥1000 transaction.
