Which Internet Provider are you using

Post by concerned »

Hi All
I am using ITS COM (non fibre optic) and paying 4,800 per month.
Its a bit unstable these days, resetting the modem used to fix this, but not of late
Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for reasonable priced, stable options?
Thanks

If it’s available in your area NURO is the way to go.

I use SoftBank hikari. It is less stable than the JCOM cable service we previously had.

We use NTT fibre at home and a dedicated NTT line at work. Both work fine.

We have OCN Hayabusa Hikari. It's 5610 per month for 1Gbps up and down (best effort). I'm using IPoE to connect instead of PPPoE to avoid the IPv4 congestion. Nuro is only available in 2Gpbs in my area, and you are forced to use their router and put up with double NAT if you want to use a better router, so I'm happy with OCN.

Nuro is best just don't forget to apply for those cashbacks

also avoid Softbank Air cause its not worth it for the price.

I did use Software Air a few years back and got charged 33,000 for their router when I canceled with them, so vowed to not use them again

I have just now switched to Nuro, I was not aware of the cashbacks, thanks for this advice, will look into this

Yeah had also a bad experience with Softbank.

As for me I opted for a 2 year contract with NURO, depending on the campaign they will be sending you
an email about the cashback after 6th month and 23th month I think.

I am using softbank hikari since several years. It is stable and fast - no complains here.
