This year I am on track to spend about 200,000 yen on various hospital visits and medications.
I am a seishain and pay into the Japanese system as per law.
I don't have any supplementary health insurance.
Someone said I could get money back on anything I spend over 100,000 yen in one calendar year.
Is that true?
If so, how do I go about claiming this money back? City hall? Can I do it online with a My Number card?
I have kept all receipts since January.
Thanks!
