I would consider this as a short term investment, because most of the options available are 6 months - 1 year. Which means at the end of that duration you have liquid cash.

I don't consider this as a risky bond, because the site has collateral from the borrower as an insurance should the borrower default.

I'm sure deepdishj can shed more light on this.

So i've just opened an account on Maneo. They are also linked with a lot of other companies, upon checking, some of these other sites offer higher yield.
Can anyone verify if these are decent options or has anyone invested through any of these sites?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I just put in the minimum to see how it works. It was nothing more than an experiment. But so far, so good. It beats the bank and I've had no issues. Once the process is complete, I'll have a look and see if I want to do it again or up my investment.

Turns out, in order to be able to open an investing account at Maneo, you need to be a Permanent Resident otherwise they reject your application...

Got an interesting email from Maneo the other day. Apparently they've not received interest and principal payments from loans made through a third party in America. They're currently trying to find out what happened and retrieve the money. It'll be interesting to see what happens. One of my funds is affected, but fortunately I only had a little money invested with them.

Guys the other day I was browsing P2P lending opportunities in Japan and found this comparison analysis.
Have any of you tried and succeeded on these platforms.
Would you please share also how much you invested and gained (loss)? (optional)
