Hello, before I try calling SBI in my bad Japanese, I thought I would ask here.
I have had my NISA for 5 years. I thought I did a rollover, but maybe I just rolled over one stock I had since 2017 (I remember submitting something to do with a rollover).
Now my account is showing NISA/TSUMITATE NISA (written like that) with 600,000 allowable for the 2022 year. And all my investments from NISA are all intact in this same account (not moved outside the NISA).
Did I somehow switch to a TSUMITATE but keep my other investments? How does it work?
I would prefer to keep NISA as the investable allowance is double.
Thanks in advance.

Re: NISA rollover - confused
Tsumitate NISA allowance is only 400,000 yen a year, so it seems as though you have an ordinary NISA with your previous investments rolled over into it.

Thank you for the answer RetireJapan. Do you know why the allowable amount is only 600000, instead of the usual 1.2? Again, this is my 6th year having a NISA.

If you rolled over previous investments they will use up your NISA allowance for this year. Did you check the contents of your 2022 NISA?
