Monex and regular Nisa - how to apply for next year's quota and avoid automatic rollover

Post by NaganoMan »

Hi everyone, I have a regular Nisa account with Monex Securities and have maxed out my investment for 2021. For 2022 I do not wish to roll over but instead apply for a new regular Nisa quota JPY 1.2m. Given this is the first time I am doing this I am not sure of the procedure. Could someone pls advise how to do this? With Monex regular Nisa I don't know if there is an automatic rollover but at the same time want to avoid this. Thank you.

Did you invest in 2016? The rollover happens 5 years from when you put the money into your NISA. You will get a fresh NISA allowance in 2022 assuming that's not the case.
