I watched it and it is basically one long infocommercial.
Funny how they keep saying you need to buy and hold index funds, but then that you need a manager: them.
One point was that today's winners aren't tomorrow's, which got me thinking about all the tech heavy stocks I own that now take up a large part of my portfolio.

It's the eternal question: is this s a bubble that will burst and regress to the mean, or is it a new reality. I suspect it is the latter this time, but obviously I have no reason to believe I am right

Yes, the irony of the active manager for your passive investments!
I wasn't planning to use them as a manager, and that hasn't changed.
If you can get past the sales pitch for their services, still a lot of valuable information in there I think.

I asked a question five years ago to Motely Fool's Tom Gardner about whether or not to sell Amazon, as it had gone up a lot. He said he understood the reasoning, but that he would hold even if it was an outsized % of his portfolio. That was the right call of course.RetireJapan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 12:26 amIt's the eternal question: is this s a bubble that will burst and regress to the mean, or is it a new reality. But looking at the change in the Dow over the decades, and not many "sure bets" of the past are still there.

That's why 70% of our investments are in world stock index funds. Agnostic as to future winners.
