Hi all,
I set up my iDeCo and Tsumitate NISA in the summer, initially setting up the NISA at a slightly reduced amount while I figured out how the website worked. Anyway, everything seems to be going swimmingly, so I'd like to increase my NISA level from 20,000 to 32,000 a month mark.
For anyone who is familiar with the website, I'm just wondering if I'm correct in assuming that I just put input 32,000 into the 'Monthly deposit amount' box (see attached pic). Or, is it the case that as I already have monthly payments of 20,000, I would put the figure as 12,000 instead?
Also, as it's the end of the year I thought I'd kick in a little extra as a bonus month. As I've only paid in about 80,000 so far this year, am I right in saying that I could in theory deposit an additional 300,000 or so to reach my limit of 400,000?
Any advice much appreciated.
Navigating Monex website: Increasing deposit level
Re: Navigating Monex website: Increasing deposit level
I don't use Monex but if its similar to how Rakuten does it, the regular payments are "locked" unless you delete it so if you set it up to do 32,000 it will take it on top of the 20,000 so you already have. You can try it with 12000 first, and in your Tsumitate settings, it should show 2 entries. One for 20k and another for 12k. Another way would be to edit the existing one but I don't know if Monex allows that.
Your idea with the bonus is correct but you also have to account for your December payment. So 300k minus that.

I'm not sure if is there a better way to do it, but you could follow these instructions below to change it:

Thanks all, I finally got it sorted (I think). I just decided to max out my bonus payment instead and up the monthly contributions in January.
