I'm sure many Monex/TradeStation users have noticed that for many US stocks, an error message reading "Trading is Restricted for this Symbol" comes up when you try to buy it. This happens particularly often for newer small & mid-cap listings, even if they are listed on the NYSE or NASDAQ, and even for (what I consider) relatively well-known companies.
Digging around, I found a (hidden?) form in Monex where you can request a stock to be added to their list of buyable stocks. I gave it a go, and requested an addition back in late June. No action. One month later in late July, I repeated the same request, and lo and behold, I just noticed it was added in early August. Of course, I'm not sure how much sway my request had, but just thought people would like to know about this.
The form is at the 入力フォーム link on this page that shows their latest additions: https://mxp1.monex.co.jp/mst/servlet/IT ... bolPlusGST

Re: Monex US stocks add request
Perhaps we can make a shared wish list, so we can multiply our votes?
If you plan to fill out this form again, or the same with Rakuten I would request that you ask them to add:
1. Ticker -> VOTE -> (Engine No. 1 Transform 500 ETF)

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/23/a-new- ... ting-.htmlVOTE is a passively managed fund that provides exposure to large-cap US stocks. The fund encourages transformational change in the public companies it holds by applying proxy voting guidelines and engaging in dialogue with management. VOTE does not promote socially responsible investing by excluding companies based on any ESG criteria. Instead, the fund favors actions that encourage companies to invest in their employees, communities, customers, and the environment through its equity stake. The market-cap-weighted index is composed of 500 of the largest stocks from a universe composed of US companies from any sector. Holdings are reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced quarterly.
