I've sold some of my Tokutei Mutual Funds (mostly emaxis slim TOPIX & Emerging Markets) and I'd like to understand what happens next.
I understand that the benefit of the tokutei accounts is that the broker takes care of the tax piece, but i've never done it before, so wanted to be sure.
Will I need to put anything on my year end tax adjustment form for this (my company prepares mine for me). I do not submit a tax return myself.
Thanks

This is true if you selected the applied to the right kind of taxable account. You will need to confirm this.JapaneseMike wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 10:06 am I've sold some of my Tokutei Mutual Funds (mostly emaxis slim TOPIX & Emerging Markets) and I'd like to understand what happens next.

There are 3 types of "taxable" accounts.
a. Calculating and withholding
b. Calculating
c. Neither
If you have account type A, you do not need to do anything. It is all handled within the account.
