ideco/nisa which provider..

after much mulling am finally taking the plunge on the ideco and nisa for myself and my wife.
is rakuten the best for both over sbi ./monex etc? is it best to keep same for both?

All the big online providers are similar. There are small differences in iDeCo product lineups.

Having all accounts on one platform is easier (you only have to learn one), having them at separate ones might be a tiny bit safer. Bit of a wash and depends on how much hassle you are prepared to go through.

thanks..was just worried about the emaxis not being av on rakuten for ideco

I went with Rakuten, but if I were to do it again I'd go with Monex or SBI. The funds available at Rakuten are OK but they're not the cheapest out there.

Monex has the Emaxis Slim All Country fund.

SBI doesn't have it, but they've got the other Emaxis Slim funds, so you can put together something similar by yourself. They're also doing a 5,000 T-Point campaign for introductions, if that's your thing.
