It looks like this account has 0 fees and commissions on buying/selling US listed stocks and ETFs,
as well as 0 monthly maintenance fees even if no transaction is made.
What is the catch? Am I missing something? Perhaps this is only for Americans?

AND
click on Compare here (IBKR LITE):

Is anyone actually using such an account?
Is it really a 0 commissions account for US listed stocks and ETFs?
EDIT: it looks as if IBKR LITE is ONLY for us residents, but then that means all non-US residents have to use the PRO account, including the retail investors which I find quite odd, so I will continue searching to see if I can confirm that.

Thanks for the anecdote!
Then I guess that is really the case.
I also researched it more myself and it looks like it only applies to the US and India.
