Hi all,
I got this message when trying to pick up 1476 this morning:
NISA口座の買付可能額を超過しています。株式で成行の場合は値幅の上限の買付余力が必要です
I'm trading with Rakuten. I was able to place an order just previous to this and it went through fine. Anyone come across this before?

Need more information
Although it seems the problem is that you placed an open order, which theoretically could execute at a much higher price than the current one, potentially going over your NISA limit.
You can avoid the problem by setting an upper limit to the price you are willing to pay.

Right! Thank you for that
Also, I realized that it wasn't necessarily referring to my NISA limit, but the amount of cash I had available in my account at that time. I am usually floating an extra bit of cash in this securities account, but this purchase would have brought me close to zero, and without the upper limit, it could have put me over.
Cheers!

As an aside, unless you really don't care what price you pay, it's always best to specify your price. You never know what could happen!
