Saw in the news that several NISA amendments are being proposed for 2020 financial year.

1. Something about a monthly tax-free bracket if your employer pays for your NISA, so you can invest using pretax income. Pretty small though, only 1,000yen a month.
2. Amending Tsumitate NISA so that the 20 year period starts from the moment you sign up, regardless of your age. Currently restricted to those between 20-40 years of age?
3. Removing NISA's 5 year limit. Not sure how this works. News used the words 恒久的 which makes it permanent, I guess?

This is how ISAs in the UK work (supposedly the model for NISA). Makes much more sense. Would love to see it here!Jansen wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 2:20 pm Saw in the news that several NISA amendments are being proposed for 2020 financial year.
