Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Yes Thanks!! Only, once money's been transferred to Monex, and time to buy something has come, after log in to some JIS&T page (as Monex requested) we don't see the name from my previous comment, anymore (eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー)) Instead, the most similar we can find in the funds list is 0...

Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Yes, exactly. Thank you! After reading this thread a lot I decided to go with Monex' eMaxis Slim All Country, only. To cut expenses, and also save the time on further choosing/relocations etc. Looks most folks here prefer this one, too... There were some comments about this fund's name before, like...

Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Guys may I ask what exactly is "fund rate", regarding iDeco? Is it what I can see for example here: https://www.dcnenkin.jp/search/product.php?mode=show&item=71a , in the 5th column of a spreadsheet (運用管理費用(信託報酬))? Like, first fund (One DC国内株式インデックスファンド) shows a number of 0.15400% Is t...

Re: Aren't iDeco fees too high?
Thanks for reply! This fee is only paid once per month for the entire account, not per fund Am I right to understand that it means - if I choose let's say 5 funds of that 171円 rate - I will only pay 171x12=2.052円 a year? Not 171x5x12=10260円 a year. The real problem is that a lot of the funds availab...

Aren't iDeco fees too high?
Happy new year everyone, My question's in subject, I did some search on forum but didn't find similar topics. So iDeco fees seem to be too high to me, especially compared to "general" stock investing where you only pay twice, buy and sell. But maybe I miss something? What I see now, is tha...

Re: Simple Q&A - NISA
Sell and Rebuy in your taxable right away. If you are leaving Japan you may not be able to keep your taxable account open fyi (deepening on your status), see your specific brokers policies. Thanks a lot for reply. Yes probably sell and rebuy would be the only option. Shall specify with Monex but us...

Re: Do Japanese brokers sell stocks/funds by 100 lots??
Tried to figure it all up once again, still complicated as hell to me :D But to sum up, am I right that - if I want buy like 1 stock, I can only buy it ONCE A DAY, on beginning of afternoon session (didn't know Japan Exchange had lunch break?? :o Looks like it) If I place order before 11:30 - purcha...

Re: Simple Q&A - NISA
Am I right to understand that if I have NISA, and leave Japan - the ONLY choice I have is to sell all NISA assets? No way to transfer them to another account to keep (like ordinary Monex - IB Japan, or any)? Selling might be ok if I had gains, but if I had losses - keeping assets would have more sen...

Re: Japanese broker for someone with NO kanji
Monex and SBI and Paypay securities* did not do a language or comprehension check with me Fantastic! Means everything is done on paper, like online form fillings, or send/receive forms on postal address? Rakuten never called me or did any checks with me This looks like checks still happen, but at l...

Japanese broker for someone with NO kanji
Good day everyone, "Someone" from subject is me, actually... Managed to re-launch my pension about a month ago, and want to add iDeco to it. Need to open local brokerage account. Only - no kanji at all. This is inconvenient but not critical (can use translator on webpages) but I heard loca...
