What kind of class was this? Was it very specialized?

I'd love to be able to charge that much

Re: Work Restrictions & Passive Investing

Why is an employer allowed to restrict how an employee invests their own money?

Conflict of interest? Visa issue?

Re: 1.2 mill NISA limit

I made my final purchases on Dec 25. But I could only buy funds that had a 4 day delivery. Since you placed the order on the 21st, I'm guessing you bought a fund with a 5 or 6 day delivery.

Gold Funds or ETFs

I'm considering putting some money into gold for the 2019 NISA. Are there any goood funds or ETFs for this? Is there a way to invest directly into the price of gold rather than gold companies?

Re: NISA Contribution based on Purchase price

You can make ¥1.2mil of purchases in a single year. Even if you lose value or sell something, unfortunately you can't invest more.

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with the eMaxis Slim one.

Re: Looking for suggestions to finish off my 2018 NISA

Oppose your view. I’d just bang the whole amount into a US index tracker, sit back and ride while Trump gets re-elected in 2020 and the market goes through the roof... Your choice, as you say, though... I'm definitely going to put some in a US index, but I'm not confident enough to do 100%
