Re: Cryptocurrencies

tbh the threads on here are just rehashing every other crypto chat online. I don't think there's much specific to Japan to talk about except maybe the miscellaneous income tax handling or Bitflyer.

Re: How to sell specific "OLD NISA" year on Rakuten

You can't sell a specific year, it's first-in, first-out. When you sell from old NISA, it'll sell the units you've held the longest first. I can't actually find a Rakuten source for this for Old NISA, but here is their answer for the New NISA: NISA口座で同一銘柄を2回に分けて買付けた場合、売却する際に指定することはできますか? できません。 NIS...

Re: SBI Tsumitate NISA Bonus rule change

Right, but isn't this still the case?
adamu wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2024 9:04 am This seems to make it more complex and stop people who start part-way through the year from filling their allowance, while still allowing people who start in January to put away the full amount minus 11 months minimum payments at the start of the year.

I'm confused. This seems to make it more complex and stop people who start part-way through the year from filling their allowance, while still allowing people who start in January to put away the full amount - 11 months minimum payments at the start of the year.

Re: SBI Tsumitate NISA Bonus rule change

Weird, so if you started in July at 100k/mo, you'd get no bonus I guess? You'd have to set it to 200k/mo to max it out instead (if that's possible).
